The Robotics Program at Valley Christian Schools in San Jose, California was established to promote science, technology, engineering, teamwork, project management and positive Christian attitudes. The robotics program sponsors the WarriorBots and the WarriorBorgs competitive teams. Valley Christian Schools has joined efforts with the FIRST organization where students compete in a sports like environment inspiring young people to be science and technology leaders while engaged in exciting mentor-based programs. The robotics program also includes several camps during the spring and summer. The spring camp is called the Little Warriors Camp, for Valley Christian Elementary students. The summer camps are for students ages 9-14 who are interested in learning about robotics. Valley Christian's participation in FIRST programs has led to the establishment Advanced Math, Science, & Engineering Institute (AMSE) at Valley Christian High School.
